Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira, born in Campinas Sao Paulo on May 26 1977. Her roles include Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (2000). Ana Paula Oliveira became a part of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC) in March 2020. She is currently the manager of the Assassination Witness Project and is a major part of the multilateral engagement of GI-TOC. She focuses her research on the illicit economy, assassinations and disappearances. Her research interests also involve the influence of organized crime on human rights as well as humanitarian law and policy. Ana Paula holds an LL.M Cum laude in International Law by the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. She also holds an LL.M. qualification in Public Law as well an MBA from Fundacao Getulio Vargas, Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula has a bachelor degree in Legal and Social Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She is a lawyer with a license who worked at a law firm focusing on legal issues involving public law for more than four years. The past experience she has had also involved assistance in the roles of non-governmental entities located at Rio de Janeiro and Geneva.
