Mary McCormack was an American actress best known for her role as the main character in TV series such as "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. Also, she is well-known for her roles in movies such as "Private Parts," "Deep Impact', "True Crime' and '1408'. Her parents were a therapist as well as an ice cream shop owner, McCormack hails from a family that has no connection to the world of entertainment. Following the separation of her parents, she went to Trinity College Hartford, Connecticut. In the year 1990, following finishing her studies at Wardlaw-Hartridge School with a BA, she graduated. She began her career when she was just 12 years old, and she appeared in the stage production of 'Amahl and the Night Visitors, an operetta for Christmas. McCormack continued to perform in theatres before landing a role both on the small screen and big. McCormack nowadays is recognized for one of the best known and most versatile performers. Michael Morris is her husband and she has three daughters.
